This sock is indeed a true ankle sock...
They come just up to the ankles. If you want a sock that covers the ankles, then a quarter sock is the ticket. These socks run true to size, they're thick and comfortable and absorbant. I wear them every day at the gym. I would recommend them to anyone who knows what an ankle sock is and wants ankle socks.

Not an ankle sock
This sock is a very low cut sock. I am an average size normal man and this sock doesn't cover my ankle. Nice sock but it should not be advertised as an ankle sock --- a misnomer.

Good sock but it is really quarter height
This sock performs well but it is really a quarter height sock as barely reaches the ankle.
