Champion Powerback® Underwire Sports Bra
Difficult to get on, but I LOVE it!
Yes, I agree, this bra is very difficult to get on and off. It does get easier with continued use though - it took me a couple of months, but it is not the struggle to get off that it was the first couple of weeks. If they made it easier to get on and off I believe it would lose the structure that makes it work, so I just committed to get acclimated to it.
This is my first non-compression bra, so I am enjoying having a nice shape and form as opposed to having a uniboob
For me, this bra, both in cup and band-width ran large. I originally ordered my normal size of 36C and it was HUGE in both band-width and cup size. I reordered a 34C and it is PERFECT! I have never been comfortable in a 34 band size, so I do believe this runs large. If you are in doubt, I would order both your normal size, and a size smaller and return the one that does not work for you.
I agree with a couple comments about the fabric being slightly scratchy . . . The IMPORTANT thing is it does not feel scratchy while being worn. If it were soft I believe it would stretch quickly and lose its effectiveness as a great sports bra.
I love the slightly padded straps. Also the way the straps attach to the cup sides then go across your back to the racer-back provides very nice support.
I run 25 to 30 miles per week and wash this once per week. It NEVER has never been in the dryer. I do wash it in the washing machine with my workout clothing in cold water, on delicate in a bag, then let it hang dry. I've had it for six months and it shows no signs of wear.
I also appreciate the breathability of the fabric, this bra keeps me cool, my former compression bras made me very warm.
My husband loves the shape that this bra gives me, and I have worn it with 'street clothes' because of the nice shape.
If I could ask Champion to change just one thing, it would be to provide a bit more 'coverage' or petals since nipples are extremely visible. It seems like they could use a firmer fabric in the cups, perhaps like the fabric across the back to provide a bit more coverage for your nipples.

Great if you don't want the "girls" to move!
I am a personal trainer and have been wearing this bra for years. I refer my clients who are large chested (naturally like me and not implants) to wear this bra and also # CH6843. YES this bra is difficult to get on and off but if you want to protect your breasts from bouncing/stretch marks then this is the bra for you. I like to have complete freedom of movement while running/plyometrics without worrying about my chest jiggling. YES my husband does sometimes have to help me take off a sweaty bra (grosses him out!) but I usually can get it off by myself. It is also great for running. We all have different opinions but I don't like any movement in my breasts when I run and this bra is perfect for running. Doesn't rub in weird spots. The material is great. The only time it rubs is when i run more than 10 miles but then lube solves that problem.

Really wanted to like this!
I really wanted to like this bra - and if it weren't for what is probably the most common complaint from reviewers, I would have loved it! The fit is great - it felt comfortable to wear and was true to size.
This is the first time I've tried a sports bra that provided extra support (which I really need). I was expecting it to provide a bit more support than it actually did, but overall I think the level worked for me.
The main problem though, is this thing is near impossible to get off SAFELY. I didn't have a problem getting it on, but off was a different story. It took a few minutes, and I ended up wrenching my neck and am now in some pain.
I'm not quite sure why the company thought this bra was ok to go to market with the getting on/off challenges SO many people seem to have. With the different ways you try to contort your arms to get the bra off, I can definitely see people pulling or wrenching something in the neck/upper back area.

Great support, extremely difficult to put on
Like almost all the other reviewers, I love the support of this bra but hate how difficult it is to put on. I have to either have my husband hook it or try to somehow twist my arms around my back to hook it. I don't always succeed at the latter method, but when I do, it takes forever to get it right and becomes very frustrating. One reviewer suggested hooking it first and then just pulling it on. I'm concerned this method would stretch the bra out and hurt its ability to support in the long run. I hope the manufacturer/designer will continue to work on this product. If it were easy to put on, it would be the most amazing bra ever.
